Hi,

Quick Searches in Cherwell are very useful for finding information quickly and easily.  The Quick Search is associated to an Object. Eg. Incident, Problem, Change, Release etc.  You change the association by selecting the Object you want to search from the drop down arrow.   Any field can be searchable if it is set for Free Text Searching.  Ask your administrator to trun on searching for the fields you need.

 

 

Administrators only - To make a business object available in Quick Search run Cherwell Administrator, create a Blueprint and run the Business Object Editor for the business object. Check the "Show in Quick Search" box on the Search Results page.
